How to recognise and manage a cardio-respiratory arrest. Includes a lecture on amendments to make for children.
Paediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS)
2 Hours
How to recognise and manage a cardio-respiratory arrest in children. Includes practical simulation using a baby and small child manikin.
Anaphylaxis recognition & initial treatment
1 Hour
A course covering the recognition and initial management of Anaphylaxis. Includes Adrenaline Auto Injector pen training .
Medical Emergencies Training for Healthcare settings
2 Hours

Course objectives:
To gain an understanding into some of the most common medical emergencies within the specific healthcare setting
To be able to recognise the signs/symptoms of a deteriorating patient and using an ABDCE approach prioritise their care
Learn how to treat specific medical emergencies using the equipment and drugs available, working within the relevant scope of practice
For individuals to be clear of their role and understand what action needs to be taken in a medical emergency
