First Aid for Children - 2 Hours*
We provide first aid training for nursery, school and college pupils. Courses are tailor-made to suit each year group and the requirements of the school. Each child will receive a Basic First Aid certificate of attendance showing the course syllabus.
+ Examples of topics which may be covered:
- Recognition of an emergency situation and calling for help
- Contents of a First Aid Kit
- Anaphylaxis
- Recognition and management of choking
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Demonstration on the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Treatment of wounds and bleeding
Training is provided through a combination of age-related practical tasks and academic activities.
